For information about vacancies, please refer to the Vacancies section of our website. Please note, we are NOT in a position to accept spontaneous applications for jobs or internships, paid or unpaid. All our vacancies are advertised publicly, therefore we invite you to keep an eye on our website and to apply when a vacant position arises. If you are a refugee or an asylum seeker, please refer to the Refugee section of our website.
Please note that ECRE, the European Council on Refugees and Exiles, is a pan-European alliance of 90 non-governmental organisations protecting and advancing the rights of refugees, asylum seekers and displaced persons. Our mission is to promote the establishment of fair and humane European asylum policies and practices in accordance with international human rights law.

As such, the ECRE Secretariat does not have the capacity to provide assistance on individual cases.

However, we do have Member organisations in most of EU countries that may be in a position to help you. To find their contacts details please visit ECRE members.

If you are in need of legal assistance, please refer to the Need a Lawyer section of our website.

If there are no ECRE Members in the country where you are located, we would advise you to contact the nearest office of the High Commissioner for Refugees of the United Nations (UNHCR).

If you would like to receive more information about a specific issue regarding asylum law in Europe, you can send an email to [email protected] or look at the Profile page of our website to identify the person who works on the area of your interest.
