Terms of Reference
The Auditor should be a member of the “Institut des Réviseurs d’Entreprise / Instituut der Bedrijfsrevisoren” (www.ibr-ire.be) and should:
- Perform a full audit of ECRE’s accounts for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 according to auditing standards generally accepted in Belgium.
- Verify donor’s contracts, correct allocation of revenue and expenditure and correct reporting.
- Draw the F&A Manager’s attention to possible improvements in her methodology regarding controls, accounting and reporting.
- Express an opinion on the financial statements in conformity will all legal regulations for Asbl in Belgium.
- Report to ECRE’s Members and Board.
The Auditor will devote one full week to these tasks in the second half of February or the first half in March in the years 2019, 2020, 2021.
