Jesuit Refugee Service Europe (JRS) will be presenting its report on the impact of the Dublin Regulation on the fundamental rights of asylum seekers in the EU at the Silken Berlaymont Hotel, Brussels on Tuesday 4 June.

The research, based on interviews with 257 asylum seekers across nine EU countries who have been subjected to Dublin procedures, finds that the Dublin Regulation interrupts asylum seekers’ search for protection. Philip Amaral, the coordinator of the research, Cecilia Wikström, EU Parliament Rapporteur for the Dublin Regulation, and Maria Hennessy, Senior Legal Officer at ECRE, will speak at the conference. To register for this event, email europe.advocacy@jrs.net. Persons who can´t attend the conference, can follow the discussions on twitter #diasp.
