ECRE's focus is to influence EU policy through its advocacy work. Through regular monitoring of developments in asylum and refugee policy in the EU institutions it undertakes advocacy initiatives to influence the direction of the EU policy agenda. ECRE's detailed policy work forms the basis for these advocacy initiatives. ECRE aims to ensure Europe plays a more positive role in improving the protection of refugees in Europe and beyond.
