ECRE calls for immediate rescue of stranded Migrants in the Mediterranean

Referring to the dramatic situation of the 26 Migrants stranded in the Mediterranean some 80 miles off the coast of Malta yesterday, the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE) has called upon Malta to comply with international maritime law and to fulfil their duty to allow disembarkation.
